SensiGlow Rice & Clay Body Polish | Gentle Powder Exfoliant for Sensitive Skin
Nobody's ever told me this irritated their skin. Even the ones who left it on too long.
Most clay masks come with a warning: don't let it dry out, or your skin pays for it. Tightening, micro-tears, redness, the usual.
I built this one with enough support around the clay that it doesn't behave that way. The standard is 5-10 minutes, and most skin can handle longer if you let it dry a bit more, no punishment for forgetting about it in the shower. The one thing to know: exfoliating pulls some natural oils off your skin, so always follow up with a good moisturizer after.
This is a powder-to-paste exfoliant, not a pre-made scrub. Add your own liquid, water, rosewater, aloe juice, whatever your skin wants that day, and it becomes a paste that polishes and calms at the same time.
No harsh beads. No hidden fillers. Just rice and clay doing what they're actually good at.
Is clay mask bad for sensitive skin?
Not inherently. The clay itself matters, and Cambrian Blue Clay specifically is known for being anti-inflammatory and soothing, suited to reactive skin rather than harsh on it. The real risk with most clay masks is letting them dry completely without any supporting ingredients around them. SensiGlow is built with enough soothing, hydrating powders blended in that it doesn't behave like a typical drying clay mask.
Is rice powder good for sensitive skin?
Yes. Rice powder has smaller, rounder particles than salt or sugar, so it polishes instead of scratching. It's one of the gentlest physical exfoliants that exists, which is exactly why it's the base of this formula instead of something coarser.
What's the difference between a powder exfoliant and a regular scrub?
A regular scrub is pre-made, usually oil or cream-based, with the exfoliating texture already mixed in. A powder exfoliant like SensiGlow stays dry until you activate it yourself, which means you control the texture, the strength, and what it's mixed with every single time. Same product, different result depending on what your skin needs that day.
What's doing the work:
Rice Powder and Cambrian Blue Clay to gently exfoliate and even skin tone. Colloidal Oat Powder and Aloe Vera Powder to calm and soothe. Rosehip Powder and Rose Petal Powder for nourishment and a gentle glow. Niacinamide to support tone and texture. Chebula Powder, Moringa Leaf Powder, and Sea Buckthorn Berry Powder, antioxidant-rich botanicals that protect and restore. Papain Enzyme. Butterfly Pea Flower Powder and Ginseng Powder for extra brightening support. Natural fragrance from Rose, Lavender, and Neroli essential oils.
Made for sensitive skin, barrier damage, dullness, redness. For people who want a soft-but-effective alternative to more abrasive scrubs. For anyone with hyperpigmentation or uneven tone. For skin that's moody, dry, or reacts to anything new.
You don't need 10 steps. You just need a jar of SensiGlow and 5 minutes to yourself.
Pair it with any body butter and you've got the full UnF*ck Your Skin System.
How to use it:
Mix a few teaspoons into a non-metal bowl with your liquid of choice until a smooth paste forms. Apply to damp skin and gently massage for 1-2 minutes. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes for mask benefits, longer if your skin tolerates it well, then rinse. Follow up with a good moisturizer afterward, exfoliating removes some natural oils along with the buildup. Store any pre-mixed paste in the fridge for up to 7 days.
